
Andriy Ivanets
Representative of the Reginal Council of Ukrainians of Crimea, coordinator of the Taurian Humanitarian Platform, member of the humanitarian policy group of the Expert Network of the Crimean Platform. In 2017 graduated with honors from the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, majoring in Public Administration. Candidate of historical sciences.
Mr. Ivanets’ expertise is documenting, analyzing and informing the authorities of Ukraine, international actors, and the media about human rights violations and other crimes in occupied Crimea. He is the author of analytical materials on the discrimination of the ethnic Ukrainian community in occupied Crimea, cultural heritage in the occupied territories, Russia’s use of religious organizations to justify an aggressive and genocidal war against Ukraine, as well as research on the history of Crimea, in particular, the Crimean Tatar people. Author and co-author of several monographs, a study guide, compiler of a collection of documents.
Mr. Ivanets has experience in public service, in particular, he was a representative of the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (2010–2012), head of the Department for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Social Adaptation of the Administration of the President of Ukraine (2014–2015).
