Human rights defender, originally from Crimea. Expert on human rights protection in context of armed conflict in Ukraine, member of the Presidential Commission on Legal Reform, Advisory Council on Deoccupation and Reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as well as Ukraine 5 AM Coalition. Daria is involved in legislative and policy development initiatives related to addressing the aftermath of the occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, contributes to the development of Ukraine`s priority steps after the deoccupation of Crimea, as a member of a Mission`s of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Working Group. Daria co-authored “ProKrym” educational course on history of Crimean peninsula, Ukrainian deoccupation and reintegration policy, and countering russian aggression.
Daria contributed to the development and implementation of multiple educational programs and curricula on international human rights law for lawyers and judges, multiple analytical papers and reports on transitional justice, human rights violations and war crimes, committed in Crimea.
