Head of the national advocacy in the field of education of the NGO Center for Civic Education “Almenda”.
Expertise – development and strengthening of ties between the Crimean Peninsula and other territories of Ukraine, based on a human rights-based approach; protection of cultural and social rights of vulnerable groups, in particular residents of occupied territories and IDPs; protection of children’s rights in conditions of armed conflict.
Mrs. Potapova is the author of analytical materials on the educational field of the occupied Crimea and the system of destroying the Ukrainian identity of children and youth. She is the co-author of more than 30 teaching and methodical guides and textbooks, in particular, “Studying international humanitarian law: a teaching and methodical guide”, “Media literacy in the lessons of social disciplines: A teacher’s guide”, “Democracy: from theory to practice. Textbook of the course for higher education institutions”, “Culture of good neighborliness: a textbook for the 5th grade”.
Mrs. Potapova is a member of the Public Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, a Member of the Expert Council of the Permanent Representation of the President of Ukraine in Crimea, a Member of the International Council of Experts at the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine
